Bardia National Park Nepal is located in western part of Tarai region, South, which is the largest unharmed wilderness land. The area of the national park protect is 968 sq km (374sq miles) of sal forest and whispering grassland, bordering the Geruwa and Karnali Rivers. The weather and surrounding is perfectly peaceful. Estimated of Bengal Tigers are around 22 royal Bengal Tigers and 100 one-horned rhinos in the park. However these animals are indefinable and sighting in special time. Grey Langurs, Rhesus Macaques, Leopards, Civets, Hyenas, Sloth Bears and Barking, Spotted, Sambar and Hog Deer and so on are such mammals are found. More than 250 species of birds, including the endangered Bengal Florican and Sarus Crane can be seen. Gharial and Marsh Mugger Crocodiles and Gangetic dolphins are occasionally spotted on rafting and canoe trips along the Geruwa River.
Geographically, Nepal is categorized in three parts, The Mountain in the north, The Hills, in the middle and the Tarai in the South and specially, Nepal is extended east to west too. Tarai is flat and lowland where densely vegetated with tropical forests providing habitat to diverse variety of wildlife, flora and different native and migratory birds. There are 14 national parks and wildlife reserves protected area of Nepal for preserving, protecting natural lives in Nepal. Bardia National Park, and Koshi Tappu Wildlife reserve area are highly preferred area for activity of Jungle Safari, Birds watching and wild lives . There is very famous for feeling with habitat of different rare and endangered wild life which includes Royal Bengal Tiger, One horned Rhino, Crocodile, Four horned Antelope, Striped hyena, Gangetic Dolphin and many others many species of birds. Day 1: Receiving you at the airport to respected Hotel
On arrival at the airport in Kathmandu with warm welcome and then transfer to respective hotels in the heart of the city around or near interesting and happening area of Thamel by officers of Nepal Edumedic Travel and Trekking Company Pvt. Day 2: Full Day Sites seeing of Historical Heritage and Religious Sites
Full day site seeing in Kathmandu, Pashupati Nath – Temple of Hindus, Swayambhu, are major religious sites. Tours may run to holy sites a short drive to Bouddhanath Stupa, also called as ‘Little Tibet’ as this place is inhabited by Tibetans and Tibetan origin Nepalese people of Tibetan Buddhism.
A huge dome of Stupa with prayer wheels that circles the wall, a fascinating Stupa with all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha believed to be more than 600 years old or more, the entire area with markets of Tibetan and Chinese goods and nice restaurants, shops and many monasteries.
Afternoon tour continues towards the historical monument of old Swayambhunath stupa of more than 2,500 old history with super views of Kathmandu valley, it is also commonly named as Monkey Temple due to mass population of monkeys that reside around the forest within Swayambhunath Stupa, an old heritage sites and the landmark of Kathmandu valley where the four cardinal eyes of Lord Buddha watches the valley.
A holy stupa located on a hill lock west of Kathmandu city with tremendous views of the valley and city. Then we will visit in old Kathmandu Durbar Square in the heart of the city our guide will take you on a short tour visiting the gems of Kathmandu city the Durbar Marg (old Kings Palace) with uncountable monuments in the Kathmandu Durbar Square.
The house of the Living Goddess (Kumari Ghar), the ferocious Kal Bhairab, the red monkey god, and hundreds of erotic carvings are a few examples of the sights at the Square! The buildings here are the greatest achievements of the Malla dynasty. After s wonderful day retire back to hotel with evening free at leisure.
Day 3:
Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and drive to Bardia National Park by private car and transfer to Hotel in the park. Or we can reached there by car via Lumbini, birth place of Lord Buddha, also Birds watching area. Exploring in Tharu Culture, dance is another perception in the area by Tharu community. Stay overnight in Hotel / Cottages.
Day 4:
Trip may start in the morning with having breakfast and carrying lunch Whole day walking safari to see Gangetic Dolphin- swimming possible.
Walking in allows you to explore the rich diversity of the jungle, grasslands and rivers. This is the best way to see wildlife and nature very closely. Guide facilitates you details information of habitats of wild life, plants and birds. Also be careful if any wild animal life you encounter and will brief you on general tracking tips. Stay overnight in Hotel / Cottages.
Day : 5
Heading to exploration Tiger territory area, you can walk Half day and back by elephant riding. Or we can have whole day Jeep Safari with little walk, some of the best viewing towers of Tigers, where we can be there off-road by four-wheel drive vehicle for an unforgettable safari experience
We can have seen number of domestic elephants at the national parks. Every safety measures are accepted in the forest. This is the fastest way to explore the park, allowing you to journey deep into the jungle. You visit some of the best viewing towers and you go off-road in a four-wheel drive vehicle for an unforgettable safari experience.
We can have another option for Rafting in Karnali River. For it early morning we have to go by drive around 30 km to the River. Where full of natural lives, fresh water, spot wildlife, especially the endangered Gangetic Dolphin, Gharial Crocodile. Sometime allow to have Swimming is also possible. And Stay overnight in Hotel / Cottages.
Day 6
Early morning Bird watching, wild life, exploring local and surrounding forests. Breakfast and Departure after lunch to Nepalgunj Airport by private car and fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to your own Hotel or can have Jeep tour back. Arrange to Hotel from the airport in Kathmandu.
During the months of September to December and February to April, is the best season to see residential birds as well.
