Overview

Famous Annapurna Circuit Trek was come on routing in 1977 as a typical Himalayan trek.  During Annapurna circuit trek traveler could perceive wonderful panorama of Annapurna (8,097), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Lamjung, Manaslu, Fishtail (6,993m), Tukuche peak and so on. Cultural diversity and it crosses to the north of the main Himalayas range to the Tibet-like Trans-Himalaya, Tibetan highland crossing over 5416 meters, The Thorung La pass. May you  enjoy the ranges of views of Himalaya during the trek as it starts and finishes in the thriving foothills of the Annapurna, spotted with different settlements.

This trekking starts from Besisahar passing through rice field, Gurung, Tamang and other ethnic group’s settlement as well many villages Bahundanda, Tal, Chame, Pissang, and Manang following the Marsyangdhi River. After cross the Thorung La 5416mtrs from Manang to Muktinath (God of Salvation) following the dramatic desert like Tibetan style, scenery of the upper Kali Gandaki river valley. The walk crosses pleasing villages homeland of Gurung,Manange and Thakali community which has offering spectacular views of the many mountains above the 7000 m and Annapurna snowy peaks. Also passing the way with thick fir and rhododendron area to the harsh environment of the Tibetan upland.

Around Annapurna Circuit Trek Itinerary:

Day 01: Welcome at the airport and arrange to to hotel, over night at Kathmandu
There could be possible to show you some typical area if you are full of ready in tern of long travel and Jet leg.

Day 02: Viewing around Kathmandu

May you enjoy sightseeing tour in UNESCO World Heritage Sites as Pashupatinath temple, a well-known Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Swayambhunath, which is located on the hill holds Buddha’s eyes in four direction of Stupa. Patan Durbar Square, where full of cultural and historical with architectural. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 03: Early in the morning heading Basisashar / Bulbule by private car or by local bus 7 / 9 hours (840m), over Night at Guest house

This day drive to Basishahar / Bhulbhule from Kathmandu by private car /  local bus  along with crossing Trishuli River and Marsyangdi River. On the way we can  walk on suspension bridge and carry on walking through wonderful terrace farm and also can see Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Peak 29 (NadiChuli) etc. Overnight at tea house.

Day 04: Heading to Jajat Village 5 – 6 ours (1300masl) over Night at Guest House
We walk towards from Jagat. On the way, we can feel typical natural landscape of Marsyangdi valley. After that, we pass Syange by crossing suspension bridge of Marsyandi river. Finally, we reach Jagat village, community of Gurung and Tamang ethnic groups. Overnight at Teahouse.

Day 05: Heading to Danakyu , 5- 6 hours ( 2300masl) over Night at tea house
Heading  to Danakyu at 2300masl passing, chamje,  Tal, Dharapani,  Bagarchhap through fir and pines wooden zone. We may visit White-colored Monastery (Gompa). At Danakyu, we will get to see the views of Mt. Manaslu, Peak 29. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 06: Trek to Chame 5 – 5.1/2hours (2670masl), over Night at tea house
This is another and wonderful day, walking about 5 – 5.1/2 hours crossing Timang, Thanchok to reach Chame. Chame is the head quarter of Manang District.  On the way, Dudh Khola flowing from the south face of Mt Manaslu and peak sight of Annapurna II. overnight at teahouse.

Day 07: To upper Pisang 5- 6 hours ( 3300masl) over Night Tea house
Our final point of this day is reaching Pisang lying at the altitude of 3300masl. We may observe wonderful  view of Lamjung Himal (6893masl). We cross Talekhu, Bhratang, Dhukure  to reach Pisang. A Beautiful waterfall attracts us on the way. Pisang is found in the lap of the Pisang peak. In addition, the views the north-east peak of Pisang as well as Annapurna II appears magnificent. Likewise, we see ancient long Mani wall to the bridge before reaching Pisang. Overnight at tea house.

Day 08: Hike to Ghyaru village and to see excellent view Annapurna II, Annapurna III ,& Trek to manang village 6-7 hours (3540mmasl) over night tea house.
This day, trek to Ghyaru Village from Pisang and we can observe wonderful views of Annapurna II and III. It takes about 6 – 7 hours to reach Manang. We can notice full of grass lands on the way. Overnight at tea house.

Day 09: Rest / Acclimatize Day in  Manang village, over Night at tea house
This is rest/ acclimatize day in Manag area for  on this day to get properly adapting high altitude situation along with exploring Gangapurna Lake, visiting mountaineering school and  major attractions of the place. Overnight at tea house.  we can interact with amazing mountains, area of Tilicho lake, The hieghest lack in the world and so on. We have other options to visit Bhojo Gompa, Monastery in Vraga and so on.

Day 10: Hiking up to Chauri Ledar 4 hours (4200 masl) Accommodation at Tea house
It takes about 4- 5 hours to meet Ledar (4200masl). We can enjoy with views of Annapurna Mountains, Himchuli, and Peak 29 on the back. We rich to Ledar, is our mission today crossing over, Gundon River, Gunsang settlement and Yak Kharka.  overnight At Tea house.

Day 11: Trek to Thorung Phedi 3 – 4 Hours (4450masl),  Night tea house
Today we will make way up steadily to an edge and then move down to the Marsyangdi River. After that, we will traverse through a wooden bridge. In addition, we have slender track that move transversely to an uneven hill and after that ascend to Thorung La Phedi taking approximately 3 – 4 hours. Overnight at tea house.

Day 12: Hiking up to Thorung -La pass 8 – 9 hours (5416m) trek down to Muktinath, over Night at tea house.

Early in the morning, we must be heading on. This is our big day that we are going to cross Thorung La pass. So we walk to the down Marsyangdi River by wooden bridge and following right coast of river. After that, we will have a track that turns slender and moves crossways from side to side with a shaky incline and after that walk down to Thorung La Pass and altitude is 5416masl, which is highest point of the trek as well as highest pass of the world. But there must be so cold, windy and some time we may face natural challenges too. After sharing pleasure and cheering with viewing mountains, we go towards down to reach Muktinath as respect as God of Salvation, which takes about 5 hours. Muktinath is a holy place for both religions Buddhism and Hinduism. Water flowing from 108 fixed stone taps and a temple devoted to Lord Vishnu. Overnight at tea house

Day 13: Muktinath: Explore the Muktinath Valley, Overnight

Day 14: Heading to Jomsong 2720 (masl) via Kagbeni overnight Jomsong

Day 15: Trek down to Marpha (3641 m./6 to 7 hrs walking) via Kagbeni. Overnight

Day 16: Trek to Ghasa (2013 m./6 hrs walking). Overnight

Day 17: Trek to Tatopani (1120 m./5 hrs walking). Overnight at Lodge.

We trek to stunning Kali Gandaki valley through thin area. On the way, we see different settlements like Khingar, Jharkot with typical Tibetan architecture. Very beautiful scenery of Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri may blossoming our mind on the way. Overnight at tea house.

Day 18: Tatopani. Rest day. Enjoy the hot springs and explore the area.

Day 19: Trek to Ghorepani (2853 m./7 to 8 hrs walking), Overnight

Day 20: Hiking to Poonhill:

We must be get up early in the morning around 3:45 am and heading up Poonhill (3210 masl). It takes about an hour walking to reach Poonhill. We enjoy with the best sunrise and glorious view of the Himalayas as Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Annapurna South, Bahari Shikhar, Hiuchuli, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri ranges, Tukuche peak,  Lamjung Himal, Mt.Manaslu ranges, Fishtail and others mountains. Then we come back to Ghorepani for breakfast. And start to Trek for Ghandruk through Deurali Pass, Tadapani, Bhaisi Kharka. In Ghandruk, we can interaction with Gurung Culture and viewing nature.

Day 20: we can be back to Pokhara and the Kathmandu by public bus, Car or flight.

Day 21: Morning Breakfast, shopping and departure:
