Overview

Annapurna Base Camp trek is very famous trek in Annapurna region and it lies in the middle of Annapurna Range, an awesome view on a staggering scale. Glacier and Peaks an entire atmosphere creates an unparalleled mountain experience.

May you perceive such high flowing waterfalls, could learn different ethnic people even by visiting Ghandruk museum and so on. You may reach in two base camp at atime.

Along the trek crossing through field, local village, knowing about the culture of Gurung, Magar and other people such a ways after the place of Sinuwa you have to walk through ravine until the Annapurna Base Camp. You may view with beautiful scenery of Mt. Daulagiri 8167 masl which is 7th Highest peak in the World, Tukuche Peak (6920 masl), Nilgiri, Annapurna South (7219 masl), Himchuli (6441 masl). It is considered as  easy and shorter trek than other high altitude treks in Himalayan range of Nepal. We can perceive such diverse landscapes,, culture, and wildlife with different vegetations. Likewise Poon Hill 3210 masl  may give you another panoramic  and wide ranges views of mountains as well

Driving from Pokhara to Nayapul about 2 hours the place called Birethanti and from which,  Annapurna Conservation Area (ACAP) where is Legal document checking point for trekkers. Along the way to Annapurna Base Camp you can see paradise of rhododendron forest and awesome Mountain Views.

Itinerary

Outline Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome at the airport (1300 masl) and transfer to hotel.
May you observe such wonderful views over the mountains. may you receive by the officers of Nepal Edumedic Travel and Trekking Company and transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing explore the city and prepare for the trek.
You can spend this day exploring some of the World heritage sites in Kathmandu valley  – Swayambhu, Pashupati Temple, Bauddha Stupa, Daarbar square and so on. And we may prepare for the trek in the afternoon or this day can be headed to to Pokhara as well.

Day 03: Fly to Pokhara  900 masl /6-7 hours.
We could reach Pokhara either by plane or by Bus. Bus takes long time about 6- 7 hours. But we can reach pokhara in 35 minutes by flight. When you will be exploring  in Pokhara lakeside and Boating in Fewa lake.

Day 04: Drive to Nayapool and trek to Tikhedunga 1540 masl / 4-5 hours.
In the morning drive to Nayapul takes about 1:30 hours for passing 55km and trek will to Tikhedunga. We can have new perceptions in Nayapul after walking 2 minutes in Birethanti, where is office of TIMS and ACAP. Then the trail slightly goes up Tikhedunga via Burundi Khola, Village of Sudame, Ramghai, Hille and crossing Gurung  settlement and many beautiful rice and millet field finally reach to Tikhedunga.  trek may spend almost 4-5 hours.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2850 masl /7-8 hours.
The trail slightly down to small river bank and gradually it goes uphill. Around walking 2:30 hours, we reach to Magar and Gurung settlement of Ulleri, which is beautiful village placed in the middle of forest with beautiful views. We also can Annapurna South, Fishtail and other snow-white peaks. The trek goes  through Rhododendron forest to Ghorepani passing Nangethati overnight at lodge

Day 06: Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani 2600 masl, after Poon Hill 3210 masl /6 – 7 hours.
Early in the morning aroun 4 am, we may walk to to see sun rise with beautiful scenery of Mt. Daulagiri 8167 masl which is 7th Highest peak in the World, Tukuche Peak (6920 masl), Nilgiri, Annapurna South (7219 masl), Himchuli (6441 masl) and between of those mountain we can see Annapurna I  (8091 masl) and Fishtail (6993 masl) as well as Lamjung  Himal range. The term “Poon Hill” Poon is a caste of local people and Hill is maintaned by people of  Poon family. After viewing mountains and sunrise then we may back to guest house in Ghorepani to have breakfast and  start to  trek up to the Gurung Hill Deurali then being down to Banthanti, where we may have lunch. Then we go towards and down and again climb up to beautiful place covering by Rhododendron forest of Tadapani 2600 masl overnight in Tea House.

Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong 2170 masl /5-6 hours.
The trekking trail may start after having breakfast to downhill to Kimrung Khola passing through dense Rhododendron forest, Gurung village called Chuele viewing Annapurna South (7220 masl), Annapurna IV (7525 masl) and Fishtail (6993 masl). After the Kinrong Khola trek starts  slightly up to Gurjung. After that trekking goes by crossing  forest to reach Gurung village of Chhomrong 2170 masl overnight in lodge, where you could have different varieties of foods and bakeries. Annapurna I, Annapurna II (7,937m.), Annapurna III (7,555m), we are not seen from the place.

Day 08: Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan 2600masl /5-6hours.
Another beautiful day starts after having breakfast then the trek goesto down till Chhomrong Khola / stream , and again start to  climb up to lower Sinuwa andthen upper Sinuwa crossing the Gurung settlement and Rhododendron forest on Kulsi danda about 2470 masl. We see beautiful nature in upper Modi khola valley. We can have seen only few lodges in the Bamboo and may have lunch there, We could reach Dovanv by 1:30 hours. Or Sometime We may flexible for our itinerary because of accommodation place.

Day 09: Dovan to Deurali  3230 masl to MBC (3700masl) / 6 – 7 hours.
After having breakfast, the trekking passes through dense bamboo and Rhododendron forest and wide range of trail passes several avalanche places to be Himalaya and againg towards. Then we may reach Deurali crossing through Hinko cave closed to Deurali 2920 masl. We can observe the Portrait of Lord Gautama Buddha from Hinku cave or from Deurali, which is so surprised how it comes on the right side on the rock behind the river. We can see wonderful views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock-face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls. Sometime walking from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is such hard in deed. After having Lunch we may go ahead to reach Machhapushre Base Camp and stay at night. This is also acclimatize way to stay in MBC as well

Day 10: Trek to ABC (4130 masl) Explore and Back to Bamboo  2 hours and 6 hours.
Our views go to observe Machhapuchhre base camp we get excellent views of the magnificent views with sun shine on Machhapuchhre  Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna from MBC, which is really acquiring great rewarding experience. Vegetations may not seen on the way to ABC and the path is such broad to enter Annapurna sanctuary. The sanctuary offers us 360 degree views of mountains and natural panorama.  Then we can have breakfast. We can have many activities, displaying any visible things that you wish and slowly we may back to Bamboo. .

Day 11: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Dada 1400 masl (Hot Spring)/ 6 – 7 hours.
Trek to downwards to  Jhinu Danda from Bamboo through upper and lower Sinuwa and gain clib up to Chhomrong.  We can have lunch in Chhomrong and then again going down to reach Jhinu dada, where is natural hot spring. We can have enjoy and take relax. From Chhomrong, we can directly go to Ghandruk as well or (we can follow Kimiche or Siwai -is closer).  It take about 20 minutes to reach hotspring from Jhinu. And we stay in  Jhinu Danda lodge.

Day 12: Trek from Jhinu to Tolka1800 masl/ 6 – 7 hours.
After having long sleep with full of rest in Jhinu dada, we may have good breakfast. Then we walk down to Khimrung Khola. Then continue towards crossing suspension bridge over the Modi River, New Bridge. We may walk uphill to reach  Gurung Village of Landruk,  where we can have lunch and after 1:30 to 2 hours walk we reach to another Gurung and Magar village Tolka. We can view  of Annapurna, Fishtail, Daulagiri, Lamjung Himal even while passing Deurali.

Day 13: Tolka to Pokhara 900 masl / 4 -5 hours
The last day we walk to Potana through Deurali and until Phedi passing Dhampus. It may take  5 hours on foot. We can view  of Annapurna, Fishtail, Daulagiri, Lamjung Himal even while passing Deurali.  We geg Jeep / or Bus from Phedi to Pokhara takes about 40 minutes by Local or Private car then stay at hotel near the Lakeside and be fresh with hot shower.

Day 14: To Kathmandu by Drive or Flight

/ 6-7 hours by bus and 30m by flight.
In the morning we may take flight or bus to come back Kathmandu and 30 minutes by flight and takes about 6 – 7 hours by bus. Then arrange at hotel. Traditional Nepali dinner in Kathmandu.

Day 15: Farewell program
You may arrange to at the  Tribhuvan International Airport 2 – 3 hours before your flight schedule. Best wishes for your safe Journey and Travel back.
