Annapurna Base Camp Trek


Annapurna Base Camp trek is very famous trek in Annapurna region and it goes into the center of the Annapurna Range, a awesome view on a staggering scale. Glacier and Peaks an eerie atmosphere creates an unparalleled mountain experience. Due to popular trek where are several possible routes to the Annapurna Base Camp, all way meeting at Chhomrong .The diversion from the Jomsom and Annapurna Circuit Treks is made from near Ghorepani to Ghandruk.

This trek is known as an Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, is moderate trek in this region. Which is started from Nayapul after driving 2 hrs from Pokhara City and Birethanti is entry point in Annapurna Conservation Area (ACAP) where is Legal document checking point for trekkers. Along the way to Annapurna Base Camp you can see paradise of rhododendron forest and awesome Mountain View from Ghorepani Poonhill like an Mt.Daulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri, massif Annapurna rage, Himchuli and Lamjung Himal. Along the trek crossing through field, local village, knowing about the culture of Gurung, Magar and other people such a ways after the place of Sinuwa you have to walk through ravine until the Annapurna Base Camp.


Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Nepal Airport 1350 mtrs.
Well come to Himalayas Nepal! We pick up you from Tribhuvan International Airport and drop to your hotel where you had booked. After resting some hours we meet and brief about our programme.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing 1350mtrs.
Half or Full day world Heritage sightseeing in Kathmandu valley with expert tour guide or chill out days as you wish.

Day 03: Drive or Fly from Kathakndu to Pokhara 900 mtrs/6-7 hours.
There is two ways go in Pokhara by Drive and flight. It takes 6-7 hours if you take tourist bus and 30m for flight by different airlines. When you will be in Pokhara rest of time visit lakeside and Boating in Fewa lake.

Day 04: Pokhara to Tikhedunga 1540mtrs/ 4-5 hours.
After having breakfast in the morning drive to Nayapul 55km half and an hour and will start your trek to Tikhedunga. After walking 20m from Nayapul you reach in Birethanti , where you have to show your legal document(like trekking permit and TIMES Card) to entry this area and after this stop the trail slightly goes up Tikhedunga via Burundi Khola, Village of Sudame, Ramghai, Hille and crossing Gurung  settlement and many beautiful rice and millet field finally reach to Tikhedunga.

Day 05: Tikhedunga to Ghorepani 2850mtrs/7-8 hours.
Having breakfast the trail slightly drops to small river bank. After 2 hour climbs uphill to Magar and Gurung settlement of Ulleri, which is beautiful village placed in the middle of forest with panoramic view and from where you can see the magnificent Annapurna south, fishtail and other snowy peaks and walking path through the biggest Rhododendron forest to Ghorepani via Nangethati overnight at lodge

Day 06: Ghorepani to Tadapani 2600mtrs via Poon Hill 3210 mtrs/5-6 hours.
Early in the morning climb up to Poon Hill 3210mtrs  to see sun rise with awesome view of Mt.Daulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri, Annapurna South, Himchuli and between of those mountain we can see Annapurna I too and Fishtail as well as Lamjung  Himal range. Poon Hill means Poon is a caste of local people and Hill is made by those Poon people that`s way this tower called Poon Hill. After view of mountains hike to Ghorepani to have Breakfast and trek start to climb up to the Gurung Hill Deurali, Down to Banthanti and have Lunch after that walk an hour to nice village between the Rhododendron forest of Tadapani 2600mtrs overnight at Tea House.

Day 07: Tadapani to Chhomrong 2170 mtrs/5-6 hours.
As usual after breakfast the trekking trail goes downhill to Kimrung Khola passing through dense Rhododendron forest, Gurung village Chuele viewing Annapurna South, Annapurna IV and Fishtail. After the Kinrong Khola trail goes slightly up to Gurjung and from here crossing through forest like a Nepali flat to Gurung village of Chhomrong 2170mtrs overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Chhomrong to Dovan 2600mtrs mtrs/5-6hours.
The trail dropsdown to the Chhomrong Khola , and then climb up to Sinuwa crossing the Gurung settlement and Rhododendron forest to Kulsi danda 2470mtrs.the trek now enters the upper Modi khola valley. After the Sinuwa there is not settlement only few lodges in the Bamboo, after an hour will be in Dovan. They open all lodges in high season but during the winter season they open one or two lodges according to their turn over night at lodge.

Day 09: Dovan to Deurali 2920mtrs/3-4 hours.
The trail is passing through dense bamboo and Rhododendron forest and stretch of the trail passes several avalanche palces to be Himalaya hotel and walking through Hinko cave between Himalaya and Deurali 2920mtrs over night at lodge.

Day 10: Deurali to MBC/ABC 3700mtrs/4130mtrs/ 2-4 hours.
The Deurali is the gate way to Annapurna Base Camp along the way to many avalanches places so you should careful especially in the winter season or sun shining time. You will be in MBC around lunch time if you like, you can explore day there otherwise steep up to ABC it takes 2-3 hours rich in ABC if you sleep night on ABC you can grave sunrise in the morning and over night at lodge.

Day 11: ABC to Bamboo 2300mtrs/ 5-6 hours.
Woke up early in the morning enjoy with sun rise on the top of Mt.Annapurnna I and other mountains. After walking few munities you will rich in front of Annapurna I, can see like a mirror. Having a delicious breakfast descend down after experience fantastic view of the Annapurna sunrise and back down with good memories of the trip and over night at Bamboo.

Day 12: Bamboo to Jhinu 1400mtrs (Hot Spring)/ 5-6 hours.
Trek to Jhinu Danda from Bamboo to Sinuwa and then descent to lower Sinuwa.Then ascent on the thousand steps climb up to Upper Chhomrong time of Lunch hour.After the lunch place of Chhomrong we can takes different route and instead of going to Ghandruk, we follow steep down to Jhinu Danda.This is a best place for trekkers after long day trek and enjoying the hot spring lying down into pool just a 10-15 min from Jhinu Danda over night at lodge.

Day 13: Jhinu to Pothana 1900mtrs/ 4-5 hours.
After having breakfast down to Khimrung Khola and crossing the Modi River on a suspension Bridge place of New Bridge. An easy Nepali flat walking through paddy field to the Gurung Village of Landruk,after 1:30 to 2 hours walk we reach to another Gurung and Magar village Tolka, A great view of Annapurna, Fishtail, Daulagiri, Lamjung Himal can be view when passing through village of Deurali and after an hour walk down to ston steeps we arrive to our home Pothana over night at lodge.

Day 14: Pothana to Pokhara 900mtrs/ 2-3 hours.
This is a last day walk in this trekking which is short trek down to Phedi, it takes 3 hours by walk Gurung Village Dhampus and viewing of Annapurna massif and Fishtail and reach in Dampus Phedi then Drive to Pokhara 40 minutes by Local or Private car then stay at booked hotel near the Lakeside and be fresh with hot shower.

Day 15: Pokhara to Kathmandu by Drive or Flight/ 6-7 hours by bus and 30m by flight.
Back to Kathmandu after your adventure trip by tourist bus 6-7 hour and by Flight 30 minutes stay own your booked hotel. We provide farewell dinner in Kathmandu.

Day 16: Departure for your onwards flight/30-50m.
